Aklatang Adarna
On October 22, 2008, Adarna House and ROR-P introduced the board books to the public in a launch that also formally opened Aklatang Adarna, a reading corner in the activity center of Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC), one of the ROR-P initial sites. The reading corner contains all of Adarna House’s 65 storybooks, almost all of which are bilingual and come with reading-age recommendations at the back. The reading corner will function as a waiting and recreation area for the patients, and as the venue for the storytelling sessions held in the hospital regularly.
