Teens Read, Too!
Teens Read, Too! (TR2) is a year-long reading campaign for Filipino teenagers. Workshops with writers, literary competitions, book donations, and school-based reading campaigns are held in cooperation with an expanding network of public and private high schools all over Metro Manila. This interschool event was founded on the belief that reading should be promoted among teens, and that young writers and readers deserve attention. TR2 is now on its third year and has received the support of various institutions such as Filipinas Heritage Library, Candy Magazine, MTV Ink, National Book Development Board, Fudge Magazine, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Havaianas, Enchanted Kingdom, Powerbooks, and National Bookstore.
